Inclusive Schools NYC
Student-led neurodiversity clubs in New York City
The Neurodiversity Alliance is proud to partner with Inclusive Schools NYC to offer free, student-led neurodiversity clubs for all high schools across New York City. This initiative will provide neurodivergent students with access to advising, leadership development, and peer support through The Neurodiversity Alliance’s innovative club model. Together, we are fostering a culture of inclusion and empowerment that celebrates learning differences and supports all students in reaching their full potential.
In partnership with the city’s new Division of Inclusive and Accessible Learning (DIAL), this initiative reflects a shared commitment to transforming education into a more equitable and inclusive system where all learners thrive. By expanding opportunities for neurodivergent students, we are building a stronger, more connected community and advancing the neurodiversity movement for a brighter future.

As a native New Yorker and NYC Public Schools alum, I am incredibly honored to partner with the Division of Inclusive and Accessible Learning (DIAL). This initiative will contribute to building more equitable educational spaces for learners while celebrating the identities of our students with disabilities and supporting a culture of youth leadership, awareness, and community engagement. Being at the forefront of this collaboration with NYC Public Schools is truly a full-circle experience for me, and I am eager to see the outcomes and impact our students will have by way of this partnership.

As a proud CUNY graduate and lifelong resident of Queens, I am excited to take a leading role in this initiative with New York City Public Schools. Supporting New York City students and positively impacting the public school system I have experienced firsthand is not only essential but rewarding. I am committed to advancing this initiative on behalf of The Neurodiversity Alliance to drive positive change in the community I call home. I look forward to collaborating with New York City Public Schools to create a more equitable and inclusive environment for our students and community. Together, we will create the positive change that our youth and neighborhoods deserve.
What are young people saying about our program?
❝Having attended public school in the Bronx, I often wished for more fun and creative clubs that could support me academically and socially as a neurodivergent student. The Neurodiversity Alliance programs provided me with a crucial support system that enhanced my academic and social skills, boosted my self-esteem, and opened up future opportunities. This experience ultimately led me to become a speaking ambassador for The Neurodiversity Alliance, where I can share my story and empower others to do the same. As a former student and current New York City Department of Education (DOE) employee, I believe these clubs would be a valuable addition for DOE students.
