Amanda is a native New Yorker living in Queens, NY. After nine years working in designer fashion at Bloomingdale’s flagship store and graduating from Queens College, she transitioned into mission-driven sales. Amanda now works as the Outreach and Engagement Manager on the partnerships team. She is dedicated to creating inclusive and supportive communities for learners of all abilities and backgrounds. Amanda utilizes her communication and event planning skills, as well as her double major in Urban Studies and Media, to explore the intersections of urban studies, media studies, and social justice. She is passionate about how these fields can inform her work and advocacy. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys biking, swimming, listening to music, and watching movies. When she’s not working, she can be found watching football, baseball, and basketball, and is a loyal fan of the New York Yankees, Knicks, and New York Giants.
