Josh Cruz is the Director of Partnership and Growth at The Neurodiversity Alliance. As a consultative and mission focused sales professional, Josh has cultivated and secured thousands of strategic partnerships throughout his career. Leveraging impactful programs, services, and products, Josh has served the K-12, higher education, nonprofit, corporate, government, and EdTech industries offering meaningful and results-driven solutions.
A first-generation high school and college graduate, Josh is fueled by his passion for and advocacy of marginalized and underrepresented learner populations. In addition to his day to day responsibilities at The Neurodiversity Alliance, Josh is currently enrolled in America’s Promise Alliance’s Leadership Cohort, is on the Navigating Excellence Parent Center Assistance & Collaboration Team (NE-PACT) and SPAN Parent Advocacy Network (SPAN) Advisory Boards, and is a member of the Association on Higher Education Disability (AHEAD) and National Association for Campus Activities (NACA).
A proud Brooklynite, Josh is originally from New York City and completed his undergraduate degree in Sociology at the State University of New York – Purchase College. In 2010, Josh relocated to Texas where he currently resides with his wife and children. Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and keeping up with his local New York sports teams!

I have the pleasure of building relationships with leaders across a spectrum of industries to showcase the influence and collective power of our students, allies, and staff. To be part of a team and movement advancing educational equity through effective and impactful programs and services is exciting – that’s the invaluable joy I experience every day with this work!
