Carina Santos Taveras, based in the Bronx, NY (she/her), is a graduate of Hunter College and currently works as a Teacher Assistant. She has ADHD, dyslexia, and anxiety and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a focus on policy and mental health. Carina aims to build a career as a neurodivergent EMDR Therapist and Social Policy Researcher.
Her hobbies include watching movies, reading, practicing yoga, and attending concerts. Carina’s connection to The Neurodiversity Alliance began as a mentor in the Eye to Eye Hunter College chapter during her undergrad, later becoming a student coordinator, camp counselor, and finally, a fellow.
