About

Alicia has dedicated her 17-year career to helping nonprofits secure the crucial resources they need to fulfill their missions. At The Neurodiversity Alliance, she leads a development team that engages with individual donors, institutions, and corporations, sharing impactful stories and collaborating on projects that make a difference in the world.

Alicia began her journey in development work as a grant writer for Hollygrove Market & Farm in post-Katrina New Orleans and has remained committed to nonprofit service ever since.

Beyond her professional life, Alicia is an avid reader, a barre enthusiast, and a passionate seeker of the perfect ribeye steak recipe. She can also happily spend hours talking about Star Trek and playing Scrabble. Alicia and her family live on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi.

Why this Work is Important to Me

The Neurodiversity Alliance’s mission resonates deeply with my dedication to tikkun olam, or repairing the world. For too long, neurodiverse students have faced unfair challenges in the education system. Our programs aim to address these issues, supporting one student at a time. Achieving large-scale systemic change demands the passion, skills, and dedication of many, and I’m proud to play a small part in this growing movement.
