National Summit (1 Week)
August 4, 2025 to August 11, 2025

The Event & Logistics Coordinators will work with national staff members to ensure our National Summit runs smoothly and participants have a positive experience. Event Logistics Coordinators work behind the scenes at our National Neurodiversity Leadership Summit to ensure a seamless event. Additionally, they become beloved members of the ND Alliance community by contributing positively to the National Summit activities, while supporting as role models, problem solvers, and team players. 

Our National Summit is held at the University of Denver in Denver, CO where over 250 young adult leaders, staff, board members and community partners attend to build community and leadership skills through workshops, social events, and inspiring seminars with leading role models from the national stage.

Event Logistics Coordinators responsibilities may include:

  • Working with the ND Alliance staff to ensure that all spaces and facilities are set up for programming each day
  • Provide staffing at various stations throughout the National Summit to assist with participant questions, provide directions and guidance, and ensure participants have the information they need for a positive experience.
  • Supporting ground transportation, running errands, and facilitating participant pick-ups and drop-offs
  • Ensure participants have a positive experience and are engaged throughout training and social events by acting as a role model and actively engaging in training and social events
  • Other tasks as needed to ensure the event runs smoothly

Role-Specific Qualifications

  • 16 years of age by August 1, 2025
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and the ability to accomplish tasks with energy and creativity 
  • Energetic, entrepreneurial, hardworking, and fun
  • Experience with first aid, counseling, and emergency response or crisis management is preferred for all roles

Commitment & Responsibilities

The Event Logistics Coordinator position is a 1-week commitment beginning August 4, 2025 and ending August 11, 2025. During this commitment, you will be expected to:

  • Attend the National Neurodiversity Leadership Summit from August 6-10, 2025.
    • Travel, meals, and expenses paid for by The Neurodiversity Alliance.
  • Event Interns will be able to attend sessions related to their own leadership development as an attendee and will also be required to work to fulfill logistic requirements. Exact sessions to attend will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

How to Apply

The application is available within The Neurodiversity Alliance online community and mobile app.

Finalists will be selected to participate in a follow-up interview via Zoom with members of The Neurodiversity Alliance team beginning April 15, 2025. All applicants will be notified of a final decision no later than May 16, 2025.
