Position Description

The Marketing & Communications Team at The Neurodiversity Alliance is looking for a team of Content Creators to work on increasing brand awareness, enrollment, and engagement within the ND Alliance community. Content Creators will work alongside our Marketing and Communications Team to brainstorm and research ideas for social media content and marketing strategies and coordinate, create, and promote content across various social media platforms and our online community.

Specifically, Content Creators will be expected to:

  • Attend weekly team meetings & brainstorm sessions
  • Attend virtual events
  • Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
  • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
  • Create compelling graphics to share across social channels
  • Write social media captions that speak to our target audiences
  • Help create and edit short-form videos for IG, TikTok, and YT shorts
  • Assist with photo and video content shoots at various events

Role-Specific Qualifications

  • Experience and passion related to social media marketing including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Comfortability with approaching people and holding conversations for interviews, social media content, and other opportunities.
  • Comfortability with filming in public spaces such as events, conferences, and more to capture content for social media.
  • Interest or prior experience with graphic design, video editing and production, photography, writing, performing, and/or other creative fields.

Commitment & Responsibilities

The Content Creator position is a 10-month commitment beginning August 1, 2025 and continuing until May 30, 2026. During this commitment, you will be expected to:

  • Attend weekly 30-minute virtual meetings – date/time to be determined
  • Commit 10 hours per month on various projects and assignments related to the role to be assigned and tracked with your staff mentor.
  • Attend the Neurodiversity Alliance National Summit from August 7-10, 2025.
    • Travel, meals, and expenses related to attending the Neurodiversity Alliance National Summit will be paid for by The Neurodiversity Alliance.

Finalists will be selected to participate in a follow-up interview via Zoom with members of The Neurodiversity Alliance team beginning April 15, 2025. All applicants will be notified of a final decision no later than May 16, 2025.
