For someone to be eligible for a campus leadership opportunity at The Neurodiversity Alliance, they must:

• Be between the ages of 16 and 26 and enrolled in high school or college for the 2026-27 school year, or have graduated within the past two years at time of application.
• Identify as neurodivergent, including one or more challenges related to learning such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Processing Disorders, Autism, or similar learning disabilities or challenges.
• Be available to attend our in-person National Neurodiversity Leadership Summit in Denver, CO, on August 6-9, 2026.
• Be able to commit at least 10 hours per month and meet the requirements of the specific role they are applying for (see individual roles for details).
• Agree to serve as a representative and ambassador of The ND Alliance’s mission by representing the organization and community publicly in a positive light.
• Successfully pass a criminal history check and complete an IRS Form W-9 prior to start date.

In addition to role-specific qualifications outlined within each description, leaders at The Neurodiversity Alliance should meet the following qualifications:

• Be passionate about the mission, vision, and goals of The Neurodiversity Alliance with a commitment to inclusive collaboration that prioritizes and incorporates diversity and equity.
• Serve as a representative and ambassador of The ND Alliance’s mission by representing the organization and community publicly in a positive light.
• Be able to verbalize communication style and communicate effectively in order to foster a productive and collaborative working environment.
• Serve as a public face and ambassador for The Neurodiversity Alliance on social media and various events.
• Have a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, multitask, and take initiative to solve problems and complete projects independently within deadlines.
