Shannon S. (she/her) is from Cleveland, Ohio and is a college student pursuing studies in Psychology and Social Work. Shannon is passionate about earning a doctorate and becoming a clinical psychologist focused on care for disordered eating. Outside of academics, she enjoys distance running, reading romance and thriller novels, exploring new coffee shops, journaling, yoga, and Pilates. She serves as vice president of philanthropy and service for Sigma Kappa and works as a student teacher for first-year students. Through The Neurodiversity Alliance, she hopes to advocate for neurodivergent people, deepen awareness and understanding, and contribute to a community centered on inclusion and support.
