Ruth C. (she/her) is a freshman from Chicago, IL, studying English and Disability Studies at UC Berkeley. Ruth aspires to be an international lawyer and enjoys drawing, painting, and journaling.

Ruth is a student leader within the Black Student Union and works as a research apprentice at her university. Having been part of the Eye to Eye Mentoring Program community since elementary school, Ruth has moved from feeling isolated to feeling celebrated. She believes that spaces like the Alliance allow people to embrace their diverse ways of thinking without feeling the need to change who they are.
