Why this Work is Important to Me

This work is deeply personal to me because it changed the course of my life. I was diagnosed with a learning disability in my sophomore year of high school, and it was then that I first became involved with the Neurodiversity Alliance’s programming. That experience transformed my perspective on learning and gave me the skills and confidence to succeed. I’ve seen firsthand the profound impact that a supportive community can have on a neurodiverse individual’s life, and that drives me every day. My passion for this work is fueled by the connections I build and the relationships I nurture, all while helping to uplift others in our community. Seeing the growth and excitement of fellow neurodiverse individuals motivates me to work even harder.
