2025-2026 Student Leadership
Lollie Newsome (she/her), from Atlanta, GA, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College, where she completed a double major in music and educational studies with a concentration in community & social change. She is currently enrolled in the Music Therapy Equivalency Certificate program at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. In the future, she aspires to earn an advanced graduate degree in health service psychology, hoping to specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders.
Since 2018, she has worked at an independent school for children with language-based learning disabilities in Atlanta. She is an alumni of the National Center for Learning Disabilities’ Young Adult Leadership Council and completed research internships in clinical and developmental psychology settings. Lollie combines her lived experience with neurodivergence and her passions for research, education, and the arts to support and advocate for others. Lollie joined The Neurodiversity Alliance to connect with other advocates and help amplify the voices of the neurodivergent community.
