Kayla Dumas (she/her) is from East Rutherford, New Jersey, and is currently a sophomore at Denison University. She is majoring in Politics and Public Affairs, with a minor in Communication and a concentration in Legal Studies. After graduation, Kayla plans to attend law school.
Beyond academics, Kayla enjoys traveling with her grandmother and horseback riding. On campus, she serves as a Residential Advisor and is a member of the University Student Conduct Board.
Kayla has been actively involved with The Neurodiversity Alliance since her sophomore year of high school, beginning as a Chapter Leader in the Eye to Eye mentoring program. She joined the organization out of her passion for advocacy and her commitment to empowering students with learning differences. Drawing from her own experiences, Kayla strives to remind others that their dreams are possible, regardless of what others may think.
