For Eleanor, the library was a childhood sanctuary, not just for escapism but for the chance to see the world through different perspectives. Drawn to realistic fiction, she connected deeply with characters who shared their unique way of experiencing life. Now a freshman majoring in psychology, she channels this passion into her studies and psychology club projects. What began as a love for reading evolved into a path of self-discovery and a commitment to neurodiversity awareness. She aspires to improve the representation of neurodiversity in media and advance research in clinical psychology, particularly in neurodevelopmental assessments. With a keen understanding of flaws in the diagnostic system, she aims to enhance access to accurate diagnoses and treatment, bridging gaps in research and practice.
