Alexandria (Alli) Mulqueen [she/her] earned a B.A. in Psychological Science with a minor in Linguistics from California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) in Spring 2025. Throughout college, Alexandria was heavily involved in campus and community efforts to advance the principles of disability justice and neurodiversity. She served as Co-President of CSUSM’s Disability and Neurodiversity Alliance student organization and was a Peer Mentor for the CSUSM Aspiring Scholars Program, an inclusive postsecondary program for students with intellectual disabilities. She continued her involvement with The ND Alliance during the 2024-2025 school year as a member of the National Student Advisory Council. Alexandria’s leadership experience paired with her lived experience as a late-diagnosed autistic woman with ADHD position her well to take on the role of Leadership Coach in The Neurodiversity Alliance for 2025-2026.
Since graduating from college, Alexandria has been working full-time as a Clinical Research Assistant at the Center for Autism Research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Broadly, Alexandria’s research aims to improve understanding of social communication differences among autistic youth in diverse, representative samples. Alexandria also has a strong interest in improving implementation and accessibility of clinical services to improve mental health outcomes for autistic youth. In the future, Alexandria hopes to enroll in a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program and pursue a career as a Clinical Psychologist.
In her spare time, Alexandria enjoys reading books, being in nature, making matcha lattes, and learning about bugs and sea creatures.
