I’ve spent my whole life trying to understand how my brain and body work together, and as time goes by, I’ve learned new strategies, systems and practices for managing. Some were taught to me and others I built on my own. They aren’t always easy to articulate or execute, but as I get older, I’ve been able to put a lot of it into practice, and even been able to share some of it with the people around me.

Pursuing a major in Mathematics with coursework in Data Science and International Relations, Alexandra is driven by a passion for building accessible, inclusive systems that meet diverse needs. Diagnosed with ADHD at ten, she vividly recalls her assessment, the relief and fear that followed, and the immense pressure from masking her struggles as one of the few Black girls at her private school. Over time, she has embraced her neurodiversity, creating space for others to do the same. Now, she aims to apply her experiences to the work of improving accessibility and fostering inclusion for neurodiverse individuals everywhere.
