Matt Bloom is an EdD candidate expected to graduate in Spring 2027. He has dyslexia and has actively contributed to The Neurodiversity Alliance as a Chapter Leader and a Public Speaking Ambassador since high school.
Matt is now the Assistant Coordinator of Science Education at Winward, a school for children with dyslexia and language-based learning disabilities. As a Windward alumnus, Matt takes great pride working at a school that empowered him to chart his own course and equipped him to thrive in academic settings. He also serves on the board of directors for the Neurodiversity Alliance where he serves as the chair of the program committee. Matt often shares how his experiences as a Neurodiversity Alliance Chapter Leader as well as a Public Speaking Ambassador throughout highschool set him on his journey to become a special education teacher.
