Position Description
Our clubs are designed to be student-led to empower students and ensure their voice is heard on their campus. In order to deepen our commitment to student-led initiatives, we have created this role for prior and current leaders to coach the next generation of leaders so they can be successful on their campuses.
Leadership Coaches are current or past participants who have excelled in leading programming for their chapter and are now looking to pass on their knowledge to new and upcoming leaders. Leadership Coaches serve as mentors, motivators, and problem solvers who work with new clubs to ensure they have everything they need to excel.
When a new club is ready to launch, Leadership Coaches will work with the new members to ensure they have everything needed to implement programming on their campuses and complete important milestones, such as Club Foundations or access to the Mentoring Curriculum. Once everything is in place, they will work with the new club through the first few weeks of programming to ensure a smooth beginning to their programming experience and coach them through recurring administrative tasks such as submitting Activity Reports.
Leadership Coaches will also serve as mentors and examples for the larger community by engaging in our online community, responding to questions, posting content, and role-modeling what it looks like to be an active and engaged member of The ND Alliance community. They will also hold regular office hours to be able to answer questions new and returning members may have about implementing the program within their own campus.
